New Products & Get Ready for Teacher Week

I am going to start off by saying I feel like summer is flying by and I feel overwhelmed!   I am sure many of you are feeling the same way!   I go back on September 3rd (without students) and ugh that seems pretty soon.   I always have these grand plans to get all this TpT stuff done during the summer and I really do try but life and a crazy amount of Q&A’s get in the way.   I am going to try and get to my crazy amount of Q&A’s this week.   If you left me one and are hanging, I suggest reading the other answers to my other Q&A’s, I am sure I have answered a similar question.  As for life getting in the way, my poor Sophie has had a lot of health issues this summer and I have been running her around to the vet and specialists every week.   It has been a fortune, but she is my baby and I will do anything to keep her feeling well.   Plus…today is a boat day and I know I won’t be getting many more off those…so I am off to enjoy the Great South Bay.

Here is some of what I actually got done since I last checked in.  Just click to check them out on TpT:

These two are not brand new but I don’t think I ever blogged about them.

This classroom pets packet was made because I was recently interviewed by NEA about my experiences with classroom pets.  I will let you know when the article comes out. The interview got me thinking that other teachers might want a resource to utilize with their classroom pets.  Classroom pets are the perfect authentic learning experience for the Common Core Standards focusing on reading and writing informational texts.  This packet would also work even if you did not have a classroom pet, but wanted your students to write about animals they know.

I hope you will join me next week, for Teacher Week here and at Blog Hoppin’.

Oh my goodness, the ABC cards are the cutest I have ever seen! I wish I had seen those before I purchased the ones I have now. Oh well, maybe next year? :p I do need numbers though… 🙂

I love your products! Thank you for taking the time to create them…they are absolutely adorable and beautiful!

And I am super jealous that you go back September 3rd…we start back August 21st! And that is exactly two months after summer began (June 21st was our last school day). I feel like I haven't even had a chance to accomplish any of the things that I set out to do for school this summer.

I hope your Sophie feels better soon!

Free Friday! Introduce your first graders to cente Free Friday! Introduce your first graders to centers with these alphabet matching puzzles and this free recording sheet.
