Christmas in July – Day 10 Writing Themed & Freebie

These are two of my best selling units and I thought I would share them with you for 15% off.
Here is a freebie from this packet.  I posted it on my blog a few years ago.

A few years ago, one of my students, Paige,  won first place in the Suffolk County Writing Contest for first grade.  For those of you who don’t know Long Island, Suffolk County is huge!  I was o proud of her.  Paige will tried to read her winning prose at a special dinner event and I ended up helping her out because she started crying.

The winning prose was written after a Writer’s Workshop lesson on Writing Off an Object or Memory.  I started the lesson by reading Something Beautiful by Sharon Dennis Wyeth.  I have uploaded the lesson to Google docs.  Click {here} to download it.  This lesson has just been added to my Writer’s Workshop Resources packet, which  is available on Tpt. Click {here} to check it out!

Don’t forget to check out sales in my blogging friends’ stores:
