One of the top items I see of mine pinned is my birthday boards. I first had a cow print themed one. Then, last year I made a polka dot one using the labels from my Polka Dot Labels and Signs packet. I had so many requests to just sell the labels for the birthday board that I decided to revamp mine and make a little packet to sell. You can click on the images below to check out the packet on TpT.
*Warning, I went a little overboard with the polka dots in my classroom. Don’t stare too long at the bulletin board I made – you might get dizzy. I would suggest taking it down a notch by using just a solid bulletin board background if you are going to use a polka dot border or vice versa.

I've seen your boards before, too 😉 But, the polka dot one is new to me. I kinda like all the dots:) once the pictures of your students are on there, it won't make your eyes cross. As always, love the ideas!

I love your birthday board! I was just wondering what you do when you get a new student. Do you take a picture of them individually or take another group shot? I work in a school with a transient population, and I was just trying to figure out the easiest way to make it work.
I once took a photo of the new student and then cut her out and glued her next to the last picture. For a transient population, I would cut out all the kids holding their own number and then place them on cardstock. That way if you add a new kid or take one away, it won't look weird.
This is my first time seeing your birthday board and it's perfect. I'm always looking for ways to incorporate birthdays with limited wall space.

Hi Erica! I happened upon your site today via TBA! I love your birthday board idea~ I actually do something similar except I was putting up new pictures each month (featuring one month at a time). I like your idea better because its one less thing per month that I have to think about!
