This week we are learning about bats, subtraction, short o, and the th digraph. The students are pretty good with short o, so my literacy centers this week will have more of a focus on the th digraph. I created a whole literacy center packet around it! Here is a peek at my week, just click to download:
I am linking up with my fab friend, Deedee again!
I decided to add a QR code to my class news for the first time. You can generate your own QR code for websites by Googling “Free QR Code Generator.” I am hoping it makes it easier for the parents to order from Scholastic and access our Shutterfly site (this site is open only to parents and you need permission to view the photos).
I have been using these two books for years as morning job activities. They are quick and easy and have most of the sight words I teach.
I ordered a digital copy of the book below last year. I forgot all about it. I think I will use the poems for shared reading and then have the students complete the pages.
For science and writing this week, we are focusing on Bats. You can go to my last post to grab a bat freebie from my Batty for Bats packet and enter a contest!
I hope you have a great week!
