Last we had an early dismissal and two snow days. That is my tiny house above! Plus, there is the flu and strep throat going around my class and only 12 kids were in on Friday. What plans I had got condensed with most of it being moved over to this week. I myself am not feeling so great…sore throat and a headache. I went to the doctor and I am negative for strep and the flu but it could still show up. Fingers cross this is just a cold or my body fighting off all the little kiddo germs.
We did the “easy” version of my penguin vocabulary flaps to save time.
We also predicted whether or not the groundhog would see his shadow.
Here are my plans for this week. Let’s see if the weather cooperates.
I made an interactive science notebook blubber experiment freebie (it is in the visual plan download). I am thinking I will use a bowl of snow from outside and a rubber glove covered in Crisco. Then I will put the glove in a plastic bag and have the kids stick their hand inside and then into the snow. One had without the blubber glove and one with.
Linking up with my pal, Deedee again:

Cutie patootie groundhogs!! Stay healthy – we've had a ton of germs floating around my classroom too. We had a round of a stomach virus right after winter break, and I thought we were done….NOPE! A new bug popped up last week! Here's to hand sanitizer! :o)
Enjoy your week!!
