I recently changed my classroom decor theme from Farmhouse to Sunflowers and Dots! I love how bright and clean the new look is. I have included classroom photos and links to all decor items in this blog post. I have also included two sunflower themed freebies at the end of this post! I have done my best to link everything pictured but if I missed something, or you have a question, feel free to leave a comment on this post. I hope you check out my latest decor resource and/or any of other my decor resources. All of my resources are made with real classroom practicality and use in mind.

I often get asked about printing and whether or not I print at home or if I take my printing to an office supply store. To answer that, I print all my files on my own personal printers. I actually have a newer printer at home and I brought my older one to school. I always print my decor resources using a laser jet printer, on quality paper, and then I laminate them with matte laminating sheets. The printer ink is expensive but it lasts a really long time and the quality of the images are amazing.
I keep my classroom door the same all year long. It makes it easier on me and it makes it easier for the students to find the classroom. I also like how bright and sunny the door is.

This word wall was created using sheet metal as a background. My coworker’s husband was kind enough to get it for me from an air conditioning supply store and install it using screws meant for cinder blocks. I definitely could not have done this myself. I have seen teachers purchase sheet metal from Lowe’s and The Home Depot. The word wall headers and word cards are laminated with matte laminating sheets and then I place a magnet on the back. Students love being able to take the word cards off to use for writing.
