We start each science unit with a Schema Chart. The students love to move the post-its to the different columns.
It is important to have a real pumpkin for them to touch and use as a model for their science notebook diagrams.
The parents came in for “Pumpkin Day” and we did the science activities from the packet. The kids and parents loved the activities. One of the parents even said to me “They don’t even know that they are learning!”
