Now is the perfect time to think about revamping your classroom for next year. I cannot tell you how many complements I get on my classroom and how many teachers stop in to tell me how calming it is. I used to have polka dots and I am going to be straight with you… it was a bit over stimulating for my autistic students (I am a mainstreaming classroom). The burlap, the metal, and the black are actually perfect for me, too. All those home decor items that I buy, but have no place for, now go into my classroom. I cannot resits galvanized metal containers!
