Visual Plans for the Week of March 11th and a St. Patrick’s Day Freebie

Here are my visual plans for the week of March 11th!  Click to download.

*This plan book format is called “Erica.”  Click here to check it out in Ms. M‘s A Teacher’s Plan Store.
**My visual plans are inspired by DeeDee Wills’ visual plans.  I am actually linking up with her again this week.

*Please, note yesterday there was a mistake in the numbering on the worksheet.  I updated the file and fixed it.
This Magnify St. Patrick’s Day words is a simple literacy center.  The students use a magnifying glass to search for small St. Patrick’s Day themed words.  They then record their words.  When they finish finding all the words, they write a story or sentences using those words.  This activity is part of my St. Patrick’s Day LepreCommon Core packet, but I have included it for you for free in with my visual plans.  Click above to check it out.
*If you like this style activity, Marsha McGuire of A Differentiated Kindergarten sells adorable sight word based I-Spy packets.
New packets being utilized this week (click on the covers to check them out):
Click here to see photos of the activities from this packet.
I just uploaded this packet and it is only $1!
Another great Time-Me Station by DeeDee!
Cheryl was kind enough to donate this packet for my Lucky Giveaway.  I think it is so darn cute.

Katie King has not finished this packet yet, but she was kind enough to send me an activity to go with Whoever You Are.  If you are interested in the packet, too, follow Katie’s store so you get an email when she posts the packet.

Last week, I posted on Literacy Centers.  Thanks for all the comments!  I plan on creating follow up posts to answer all your questions.

My facebook fan page is nearing 4,000 followers!  I plan on hosting a huge giveaway, when I hit 4,000.  Please, click below to “like” if you don’t already.
Thanks for reading!  You are all the best.

I am so happy to be following you, can't wait for a huge giveaway. The visual plans Linky is wonderful to see. That freebie is so cute. My kiddos are going to flip when they see words "hidden" in the picture. I love the title of the Leprecommon Core packet! The preview download isn't working for me. I am sure it is wonderful.

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog and leaving a comment. It made my day.

Can I just say.. how AMAZING I THINK YOU ARE!!! I have been following your blog for a while now and just shocks me everytime I check it out. You blow my mind of CREATIVE you are and it all looks SUPER CUTE!! The time you put into all this is CRAZY!!! and then you SHARE IT! <3!

I started following you after deciding to be a stay-at-home mom. 🙁 I used to be a first grade teacher in Frisco Texas. Then I moved back to my home town in Wichita Falls Texas. I love being a stay-at-home mom, but when I see your blog.. I want to GO BACK TEACHING and try all this stuff! HA HA I have sent several things to my Frisco teacher friends from your blog.

I just wanted to say.. WOW!!! and if I ever do go back teaching.. I might seriously have to come to NY and sit in your classroom and get some GREAT ideas!! I'm sure you are the BEST MENTOR for you district!! Wish you were in TEXAS!!! 🙂

I love these visual plans! I need to get that push to start doing them myself. Every time I see them I tell myself I will start doing them. I'm such a visual person so they totally appeal to me. Thanks for taking the time to make these. It's great to see what other teachers' plans look like. Looks like you have a great week up ahead! 🙂

You are just amazing…I think you must never sleep because it takes me hours and hours and HOURS to do most of these things (and I am only doing them for myself). =)

Thank you so much for always sharing the amazing things you do in your classroom. What a blessing you are to those kiddos and to all of us.

I hope you got the Lucky Rainbows packet I sent you. If you didn't I would love to try and send it to you again.
